Dates · Honey · Olive oil — always named

Provenance is the whole story.

We import three things from Egypt: dates, honey, and olive oil — among the best in the world, yet almost none of it reaches Singapore shelves under a named producer. We work with three. We name them every time.

Why we exist

Egypt, as Egyptians know it.

Misr (مصر) is the Arabic word for Egypt. It is also the name Egyptians use for their own country — familiar, proud, everyday. That is the spirit we carry: not Egypt as postcard or spectacle, but Egypt as larder. As heritage. As flavour.

Egyptian dates, honey, and olive oil are among the best in the world — and yet almost nothing on Singapore shelves came from a named producer. Everything was generic. We thought the food deserved better. So do the people who make it.

"At Linah Farms, the dates come down when the moment is right — not before. Rich caramel, soft in the middle, dense with the kind of sweetness that has nothing to prove."
