Everything you might want to know before — and after — a jar of Egypt reaches your kitchen table.
Shipping
Getting your order from our shelf to your table.
We deliver island-wide across Singapore. We don’t ship outside Singapore at the moment.
Delivery is included on orders over $50. Below that, a $4.99 delivery fee applies. If you’d like it sooner, express 48-hour delivery is available for $12.99.
We pack and ship from our Singapore stock, so nothing sits in transit longer than it needs to. Orders are processed the same working day and sent within one to two days. Most addresses receive their order two to three working days after it’s placed.
Everything travels in a padded cardboard box, packed snugly so nothing shifts on the way to you. Gift boxes get an extra layer of bubble wrap, so they arrive ready to give.
Not at the moment — we deliver within Singapore only.
For smaller orders, we can arrange pickup at MBFC or Asia Square. For larger orders we offer free island-wide delivery, with express 48-hour delivery available for $12.99.
Products
What’s in the jar, and how to keep it at its best.
Yes. Linah Farms Medjool dates have no added sugar — the deep caramel sweetness arrives on its own as the fruit ripens on the palm. No pesticides, no heavy metals, no additives.
Yes. These are 100% natural Medjool dates, packed and sealed in Egypt, and Halal by default. We’ve also checked with MUIS in Singapore.
Once opened, keep them in the fridge, where they’ll stay at their best for four to six weeks. Unopened, they keep for many months — the best-before date on the box assumes unopened storage in the fridge.
Crystallisation over time is completely normal — a sign of authenticity, not a fault. To bring it back, warm the jar or bottle gently in hand-hot water. It’s also worth giving raw honey a stir when you first open it, as it can settle; that settling is a good sign of the real thing.
It depends on which one. The chilli, squeezable, and bear-bottle clover honeys are slow-harvested liquid honey — 100% natural and additive-free. The Creamy Raw Clover Honey is the strictly raw, unheated one, whipped into a soft spread.
Keep both at room temperature, out of direct sunlight, with the lid closed — there’s no need to refrigerate. Once opened, molasses keeps for around a year.
First press means the oil comes from the very first cold extraction of the olives — no second pressing, no blending with later or weaker oil. Cold pressed means no heat is used, so the natural polyphenols stay intact. It’s the freshest, most concentrated expression of the harvest.
Keep it in a cool, dark cupboard, away from heat and direct light, with the cap closed. For longer-term storage, somewhere below 20°C is ideal.
Every batch of our honey & molasses goes to QCAP, an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory under Egypt's Ministry of Agriculture, for two independent tests. We screen for pesticide residues using the EN 15662 method (LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS), and we test for heavy metals, lead, cadmium, and mercury, by ICP-MS, the gold standard for trace-element analysis.
Our Coratina olive oil is independently tested by FDSC, an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory. We screen for pesticide residues using the EN 15662 method (LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS), and we test for heavy metals, arsenic, lead, cadmium, and mercury, by atomic absorption spectrometry.
Our Medjool dates are independently tested by accredited laboratories. For pesticide residues, samples were analysed by Egypt's National Center for Monitoring Pesticide Residues and Pollutants, a laboratory accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 using the EN 15662:2018 multi-residue method.
For heavy metals, microbiological safety and mycotoxins, the dates were tested through Cotecna Inspection: lead, cadmium and mercury by atomic absorption spectrometry; E. coli, Salmonella and Listeria by their respective ISO methods (ISO 16649-2, ISO 6579-1 and ISO 11290-1); Hepatitis A virus by RT-PCR; and aflatoxins B1 and total (B1, B2, G1, G2).
The results: no pesticide residues detected. No Lead, cadmium and mercury detected. No Salmonella, Listeria or E. coli. and aflatoxins detected.
We accept all the major payment methods supported through Shopify — Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
Sourcing
Where the food comes from, and who grows it.
All of it comes directly from Egypt, from three named producers. Linah Farms grows the Medjool dates in the Bahareya Oasis. Boosh the Beekeeper keeps bees and harvests clover honey and molasses in Minya. Rammah Farms presses the Coratina olive oil in the groves between Cairo and Alexandria. We import direct — what leaves the farm is what reaches your table.
The Medjool dates are Halal — they’re 100% natural, packed and sealed in Egypt, and we’ve checked with MUIS in Singapore. Our honey, molasses, and olive oil are all 100% natural too, and Halal by default in Egypt; because they go through some processing outside of Singapore (cold pressing, slow infusing), we’re waiting on final MUIS confirmation before officially marking them Halal as well.
We won’t carry anything we can’t trace back to a person. Every producer is named, every product is direct-sourced and lab-tested, and we meet each producer in person and taste everything ourselves before it earns a place on the shelf.
Egypt grows some of the best dates, honey, and olive oil in the world — but the best of it rarely leaves the country, eaten close to where it’s grown. MISRDELIGHTS began with our founder who knew that food first-hand and wanted to bring the best of it to Singapore. You can read the fuller story on our Our Story page.
Rammah Farms’ Coratina oil is single source — one variety, one grove, one harvest, unblended. It’s never cut with cheaper oil from elsewhere, so what you taste is the character of that single harvest.

Gifting
Sending a little of Egypt to someone else.
Yes. On the bundle and gift products you can choose a gift box at checkout — Standard, Christmas, Chinese New Year, Ramadan, or Valentine’s. Every box includes a warm welcome note from MISRDELIGHTS.
Every box includes a warm welcome note from MISRDELIGHTS, so it feels like a gift the moment it’s opened. We don’t offer custom or handwritten notes just yet, but it’s something we’re working on.
Yes. Alongside single products we offer curated gifting bundles that bring producers together — Boosh the Beekeeper’s honey with Rammah Farms’ olive oil, for example. Each one is built so the products genuinely belong together, which makes for a considered gift. You’ll find them all in the Egyptian Gifting collection.
We can’t guarantee a specific delivery date, but we can usually accommodate urgent orders with delivery within two days. Just email us first at contactus@misrdelights.com and we’ll do our best to help.
