- 750g Pure unsulphured sugarcane molasses from Boosh the Beekeeper, naturally rich in iron, calcium, copper, and selenium, with a deep, complex flavour for baking, smoothies, and everyday nutrition.
All products in this bundle are independently tested before they reach you. Our molasses, honey and Coratina olive oil are screened for pesticide residues using the EN 15662 multi-residue method by ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratories, and tested for heavy metals, lead, cadmium and mercury, by ICP-MS and atomic absorption analysis.
The results: no pesticide residues detected. Lead, cadmium and mercury not detected in honey or olive oil, with our olive oil also tested for arsenic with none detected.
Molasses has no cadmium or mercury detected and very low lead measured at 0.024 mg/kg, roughly one-eightieth of Singapore's regulatory limit of 2 mg/kg and one-tenth of American blackstrap molasses.
Why this matters: honey, oil and molasses carry the signature of the land they come from. Testing is the only way to know, not assume, that what reaches your table is as pure as the source. Molasses is a concentrated product, made by reducing cane down to its richest form, so trustworthy sourcing and real testing matters.
